Morning sickness is a common ailment of pregnant women, and can put a damper on the joy of pregnancy. The cause of morning sickness is an increase in the hormone, estrogen, and wacky hormones in general. Most women feel nausea, whether with or without vomiting.
Despite its name, morning sickness can occur any or all times of day. Most morning sickness symptoms fade after the first trimester, yet some women experience symptoms throughout their whole pregnancy.
Although there is no way to prevent or complete alleviate morning sickness symptoms, there are ways to curb the nausea and settle your stomach:
